About Us
The 787 Collective is a people-powered resource housed at Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary. Formed in the spring of 2017, the Collective focuses on supporting congregations as they seek to develop creative ventures with and alongside young adults. The people who form the backbone of our work spent the last five years trying, failing, and trying some more to nurture the spiritual life of young adults through ventures that deepen love for God, self, and others. We believe that practicing resilience in community is at the heart of Christian faith, and essential for both congregations and individuals at this juncture in American cultural and religious life. It's how we survive to thrive, and we'd love for you to join us!
